A formal or a summary inquiry under this ct shall be deemed to be ―judicial proceedings‖ within the meaning of 1[sections 229, 257 and 267 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023 (Central Act 45 of 2023)]1, and the officer or any authority holding a formal or summary inquiry shall be deemed to be a Civil Court for the purposes of such inquiry.
