(1) The State Government shall, by notification, appoint a Revenue Commissioner, who shall be subordinate to the Additional Chief Secretary/ Principal Secretary/ Secretary.
(2) Subject to the control of the State Government, Revenue Commissioner shall exercise powers of superintendence and control for the entire state over all Officers subordinate to him.
(3) The Revenue Commissioner shall exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred and imposed on him by or under this Act or any other law for the time being in force. He shall also exercise such powers and discharge such duties as the State Government may confer or impose in this behalf for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this Act or any other law for the time being in force.
